Portal Extended is designed as a 4-flipper game, including the two lower flippers, a third flipper on the playfield module, and the Left Side-Target Flipper Assembly. New P³s come with the Left Side-Target Flipper Assembly pre-installed. P³s built prior to 2022 did not.
