We are thrilled to announce the addition of Josh Kugler to the Multimorphic development team as the lead programmer for our upcoming major release (codename: Nitrogen). Joining the team in mid-2022, Josh has been an integral part of the Nitrogen project from its inception. We eagerly anticipate sharing the results of his and the entire team’s hard work with everyone soon!
Josh’s journey in pinball began at the age of 10 when he crafted his first machine using rubber bands and nails. Since then, he has showcased his talent by constructing several custom pinball machines utilizing Multimorphic’s P-ROC and P3-ROC boards, demonstrating both a flair for engaging layouts and rulesets, and a deep technical proficiency in crafting innovative pinball mechanisms. His tenure at American Pinball further solidified his expertise, where he spearheaded development on numerous commercial releases. With his wealth of experience, versatile skill set, and passion for delivering exceptional pinball gameplay experiences, Josh is an ideal addition to the Multimorphic team, and we are thrilled to welcome him aboard.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Josh is a devoted father and husband residing in the Chicagoland area. He relishes spending time with the local pinball community, indulging in spirited games and camaraderie. When not immersed in pinball, Josh can often be found enjoying a round of disc golf or passionately supporting University of Michigan sports. As he continues to bask in Michigan’s 2024 National Football Championship victory, he eagerly anticipates the upcoming release of his inaugural pinball game with Multimorphic.
